Your gift goes further here
MERCI Clinic does not bill patients, and receives zero insurance reimbursement. We are able to provide healthcare because neighbors fund it, because clinical professionals donate their time and expertise, and because we work with complex pharmaceutical programs to obtain medications at no cost. In 2025, MERCI Clinic provided care valued at $1,500,000 to our neighbors in need. In addition, $987,700 worth of hospital emergency department visits were avoided.

Why a dollar goes further
$1 becomes $4.40
MERCI Clinic runs lean and does more with less. Our key professional staff make conditions optimal for great volunteer doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, phlebotomists, and dentists: we have one paid staff member for every six volunteers. Our pharmacy team works diligently to find free and low-cost medication programs so we can provide medications at no cost to our patients.

- Volunteer-powered care
- Many of our clinical team and administrative team donate their time. Statewide, 92% of the charitable-clinic workforce are volunteers.
- Program-sourced medications
- Our pharmacy fills prescriptions with free and low-cost program-sourced medications, multiplying every cash dollar.
- Lean by conviction
- A small key professional staff runs the day-to-day operations of the clinic and keeps us in compliance with every healthcare regulatory requirement. Providing access to quality, compassionate care is our focus. Our Form 990s are public.
