Due to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, we are now offering some remote and virtual volunteering opportunities. If you are interested, please note this in your application.

We do expect that all volunteers will commit (2) 4-hour shifts per month, for a minimum of 8 hours/month.

Once completed and submitted, the application will go directly to the Executive Director who will forward the application to the appropriate staff member in charge. CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPENINGS
VACCINE CLINIC
In preparation for the fall respiratory season, we need licensed nurses, pharmacist, or alternative healthcare workers to help to provide COVID, pneumococcal, and influenza vaccinations for our patients. The position would require about 3-4 hours every other week. Please fill out the volunteer form or call Sue Hall at 252-633-1599.
ELIGIBILITY AND REFERRALS
Must have a willingness to assist those in need, possess attention to detail, and communication skills. Will aid in establishing new patients and connecting them to outside services.
ONLINE PRESENCE COORDINATOR
Assist us in creating an expanded online presence for MERCI Clinic through increased posting, and expanding social media venues. Required to post at least once daily on two of MERCI's social media accounts for a total of 12 posts a week. These need to be ENGAGING.
